Project Overview: Working with the marketing manager and marketing director at Muslim Hands, we identified knowledge gaps across the marketing team and developed a bespoke off-site training workshop for the whole team to attend. This workshop aimed to introduce the SOSTAC Strategic planning framework within the context of the 2022 Business Objectives. We developed exercises and scenarios where our attendees put SOSTAC into practice, allowing all teams to walk away understanding where their areas play into Muslim Hands’ overall strategy. The feedback received was energetic and positive, the ideas generated from the workshop felt more focused and there was more clarity on where teams should place their resources. They also had a better understanding of the overall marketing strategy and how to ensure their planned marketing activities would ladder up to the overall business goals.
